Pasquale Laurino
Associate Conductor

Trained as a violinist and conductor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Indiana University, his principal teachers included Thomas Moore and Franco Gulli. Mr. Laurino move to Milwaukee in 1979 and quickly established himself as a leading musician in the area serving as concertmaster of Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, the Bel Canto Chamber Orchestra and the Skylight Opera Theater. In 1983 he made his conducting debut with Milwaukee Opera Company, which led to an invitation to conduct the popular Music Under the Stars series. Regular guest conducting appearances include the Waukesha and Racine Symphony Orchestras as well as Light Opera Works, L'Opera Piccola and several productions at the Skylight Opera Theatre. Maestro Laurino currently lives in Chicago, where he regularly plays with the Chicago Chamber Orchestra, DuPage Opera, New Philharmonic and the Northwest Indiana Symphony.
