Join the Nancy Einhorn Milwaukee Ballet II Program for a show featuring classical and contemporary repertoire including George Balanchine's Who Cares? set to music by George Gershwin, arranged by Hershy Kay. Who Cares? premiered in 1970 and uses Gershwin's songs not to evoke any particular era but as a way to portray an exuberance that is both broadly American and charged with the distinctive energy of Manhattan.
Ten of Milwaukee Ballet Company's dancers are graduates of this esteemed training program, Milwaukee Ballet II. Established in 1978, the program nurtures and develops dancers' technical skills and artistry required for a professional career in dance. The Nancy Einhorn Milwaukee Ballet II curriculum is based on the artistic vision of Milwaukee Ballet and gives dancers the training needed to bridge the gap between student and professional through performing opportunities with the Milwaukee Ballet Company as well as performances like this created specifically for Milwaukee Ballet II.
