Nutty Nutcracker

The Milwaukee Ballet’s 2007–2008 season would not be complete without Milwaukee’s favorite holiday tradition, The Nutcracker. Michael Pink, who is known for his ability to tell stories through movement, will bring exciting new magic to the Marcus Center stage, transforming it into an extraordinary, fun-filled holiday extravaganza perfect for audiences of all ages.

From the moment audiences hear the first melodies of Tchaikovsky’s enchanting score played by the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, they are taken to the Tannenbaum family holiday celebration – a place where delicious food, festive dancing and gift giving commemorate the special occasion.

In 2007, The Nutcracker will be topped off with a Nutty Nutcracker performance the evening of December 29. Watch as characters come to life in a whole new way, and special guests from the Milwaukee community make their dancing debut in Michael Pink’s The Nutcracker.
