In a competition designed to generate new ballet work and to keep dance alive and evolving for the next generation of dancers and choreographers, three finalists from around the world will be challenged to create a dynamic new piece in three weeks, seeking the prize to create an original work for Milwaukee Ballet in 2012. Performances will showcase the dancers’ athleticism and strength with choreography pushing the boundaries of dance from ballet to contemporary, providing audiences with an incomparable experience.
