Miller Lite Ride for the Arts
Sunday, June 1, 2008

The Miller Lite Ride for the Arts benefits the United Performing Arts Fund. UPAF is the largest united arts fund in the nation for the performing arts. It has provided $198 million in operating support to the performing arts over the last 41 years.

The Ride offers an individual choice of five-, 15-, 25-, 50- and 75-mile bike routes and starts in downtown Milwaukee at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 929 N. Water Street. The various routes travel past several Milwaukee landmarks and continue along the scenic shores of Lake Michigan through numerous lakeside communities and parks.

The Ride finishes at the Miller Lite Oasis on the Summerfest grounds, site of the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Finish Line Party. After the Ride, participants will be treated to music, performances from UPAF’s beneficiary groups and sponsor-related activities. Food will be available for purchase.
