Tim O'Donnell joined West Australian Ballet in 2005 after graduating from the Australian Ballet School. While with West Australian Ballet he danced lead roles in many works. He worked personally with international choreographers such as Paul Lightfoot, Petr Zuska, Matjash Mrozewski and Jorma Uotinen. In 2009, Mr. O'Donnell was named Dance Magazine's "Dancer to Watch" and won the "Outstanding Male Performance by a Dancer" category at the West Australian Dance Awards. Dance Magazine noted, "Those who have seen Timothy O'Donnell perform know that he captivates audiences with his effortless technique aO'Donnellnd striking lines."

Mr. O'Donnell's choreographic career began when he won first place in the Australian Institute of Classical Dance's biennial choreographic competition in 2002. Since then he has created four more works Bound, Other Affairs, Door Number One and The Games We Play. He has choreographed on West Australian Ballet, West Australian Academy of Performing Arts and recently won both the first prize and Audience Choice awards at Genesis, Milwaukee Ballet's International Choreographic Competition.

Mr. O'Donnell's dance photography and creative photo manipulation have been widely recognized and his work has been exhibited at multiple West Australian Ballet events.

In 2010 Mr. O'Donnell will be one of four directors launching a new dance company and creative force into the dance world. The company will be called 'Ludwig'.
