Thank you for a fabulous season of dynamic, creative and challenging work.
You have demonstrated your combined and individual strengths as artists and a formidable company.
I regard this season as one of the most physically challenging to date, and one that has showcased your individual talents.
You should feel enormously proud of your achievements and reassured that your talent and hard work is appreciated and applauded by the whole organization, our board of directors, donors, foundations, subscribers, friends and the community.
Despite the economic challenges, we continue to invest in the future of the ballet through a balance of repertoire that preserves the heritage of dance and creates a future legacy. We now have five world premieres, a new full length classic, and a Jerome Robbins for the archives.
We remain committed and focused on raising the company profile and building a sustainable future.
This is an exciting time and one that I am grateful to be sharing with you all.
I look forward to working with all of you next season, and extend a personal thank you and best wishes to Andrey Kasatsky and Jeanette Marie Hanley.
