Ballet Storytime

Spice up storytime by bringing ballet books like Vampirina Ballerina by Anne Marie Pace or Ballerino Nate by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley to life with the help of dancers to teach ballet basics addressed within the stories. Grades Pre-K through 2. Includes instructor and 1–2 dancers.

The Ballet Fitness Challenge!

Flex those muscles through exercises focused on flexibility, balance, strength, coordination, agility and speed. Learn that a dancer’s job is just as demanding as a professional athlete’s — and it’s tougher than it looks! Grades 1 through Adult. Includes instructor and 2-4 dancers.

VIP Pass

Tour the new Baumgartner Center for Dance, see the dancers in rehearsal, visit the costume shop and try some moves of your own. Grades 1 through Adult.

$150 per group, groups larger than 30 will have to do multiple tours.

Fashion on Pointe

Learn about the history of ballet by seeing a fashion show of costumes from our archive. Try the children’s version (featuring animal costumes) or the ballet history version (more geared toward adults) and see up-close the beauty created by our wardrobe department. Grades 1 through Adult

$250 • Includes facilitator, 2 dancers and a dresser.  Must have a nearby “dressing room” space for this workshop.
