Classic Horror Meets Classic Dance

Experience the story of Dracula like you never have before–through the potent combination of movement and music. The living and the undead collide in Michael Pink’s engrossing dance drama which has chilled and thrilled audiences around the world since its premiere in 1996.

Dracula is one of Pink’s many partnerships with composer Philip Feeney and was originally created in collaboration with Northern Ballet Theatre Artistic Director Christopher Gable (1940-1998).

Feeney’s score will be performed live by Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra with the 2018-19 Baumgartner Studio Artists from the Florentine Opera.

Dracula’s running time is 2 hours and 26 minutes with two, 20-minute intermissions. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

The Tale…

Inspired by Bram Stoker’s legendary novel of 1897, Dracula follows the events that transpire after London businessman Jonathan Harker has a fateful—seemingly innocuous—meeting with the reclusive Count from Transylvania.

Harker’s destiny, as well as that of his beloved fiancée, Mina, hangs in the balances as he tries to stop Dracula and his sinister plans before it’s too late…
