While we are committed to presenting the beauty and magic of our artform, the health and safety of our artists, staff, and patrons remains our top priority. As we continue to navigate the challenges presented by the ongoing pandemic, we thank our Milwaukee Ballet family of patrons and donors for their patience, trust, and support.
We have created a modified schedule for the remainder of the season; one that will include new works and reinterpretations of old favorites. Please learn more below about ticket and viewing options, as well as options for subscribers who held tickets to the previously scheduled performances. You may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
We were scheduled to open the 2020-21 season with Michael Pink’s Cinderella in October, but this performance was cancelled due to the continued impact of the pandemic. Similarly, The Nutcracker was not able to be performed as scheduled at Marcus Performing Arts Center.
The value of those tickets were automatically credited to the accounts of all ticket holders, which could be applied the newly created The Nutcracker: Short & Sweet in December, as well as a 2021-22 Season subscription package.
Our original program for the second half of the 2020-21 Season included Genesis 2021 (February), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (March), and Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland) (May). These changes are brought about due to the difficulty of rehearsing the complex needs of a traditional, full-length ballet.
New programs for 2021:
To The Pointe | February 25 – March 7
Re.Gen | April 22 – May 2
Encore | June 3-13
We continue to closely monitor the ongoing health crisis and follow guidance from local health and government officials. Currently, we plan to perform to an appropriately reduced theater capacity. The exact number of available tickets will be adjusted based on gathering policies and occupancy restrictions at the time of each show.
We are currently operating at 25% capacity per Order (4.4) from the City of Milwaukee (in effect beginning 2/5/21).
Subscribers will receive priority access to in-person tickets one week prior to the general public. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Current season subscribers may utilize ticket credit to purchase tickets. Please see Subscriber Ticket Credit below for details.
If you are considering attending an in-person performances, please review our Health & Safety protocols before you purchase your tickets. Failure to comply with these conditions, including social distancing and mandatory masks, will result in the forfeiture of your tickets. The value cannot be refunded or transferred.View Health & Safety Protocols
