While we are committed to presenting the beauty and magic of our artform, the health and safety of our artists, staff, and patrons remains our top priority. As we continue to navigate the challenges presented by the ongoing pandemic, we thank our Milwaukee Ballet family of patrons and donors for their patience, trust, and support.
We have created a modified schedule for the remainder of the season; one that will include new works and reinterpretations of old favorites. Please learn more below about ticket and viewing options, as well as options for subscribers who held tickets to the previously scheduled performances. You may contact us at tickets@milwaukeeballet.org for more information.
We were scheduled to open the 2020-21 season with Michael Pink’s Cinderella in October, but this performance was cancelled due to the continued impact of the pandemic. Similarly, The Nutcracker was not able to be performed as scheduled at Marcus Performing Arts Center.
The value of those tickets were automatically credited to the accounts of all ticket holders, which could be applied the newly created The Nutcracker: Short & Sweet in December, as well as a 2021-22 Season subscription package.
Our original program for the second half of the 2020-21 Season included Genesis 2021 (February), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (March), and Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland) (May). These changes are brought about due to the difficulty of rehearsing the complex needs of a traditional, full-length ballet.
New programs for 2021:
To The Pointe | February 25 – March 7
Re.Gen | April 22 – May 2
Encore | June 3-13
