Barry Molina is originally from Minnesota where he started dancing at age 6 with the St. Croix Ballet in Stillwater. He went on to train at the School of American Ballet in New York year-round, after which he came to Milwaukee as part of the Nancy Einhorn Milwaukee Ballet II program. While in MBII, he was called in last minute to perform the role of Peter’s Shadow in the world premiere of Michael Pink’s Peter Pan. Since joining the main Company in 2011, Molina has performed much of Michael Pink’s repertoire, including Jack in Cinderella, the Bell Boy in Dracula, Pied Piper in Beauty and the Beast, Siegfried’s best friend Benno in Swan Lake, as well as Fritz, Jack 1 and Chinese Principal in The Nutcracker. This is his eighth season dancing with the Milwaukee Ballet Company.
