Originally from Gurnee, Illinois, Garrett Glassman received his BFA from Butler University. In 2012, he joined the Nancy Einhorn Milwaukee Ballet II Program where he was featured in Michael Pink’s Aubade, George Balanchine’s Who Cares?, Maurice Bejart’s Mozart Tango and original works by choreographers-in-residence Timothy O’Donnell and Petr Zahradnícek.
Since being promoted to the Company, Glassman has performed as Renfield in Michael Pink’s Dracula, Fritz in The Nutcracker, James Vane in Dorian Gray, Madge the Witch in La Sylphide, Tweedle Dee in Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland), Colline in La Bohème and Pinocchio in Beauty and the Beast. In 2018, Glassman choreographed Affixed for Milwaukee Ballet which premiered at the Pabst Theater.
Glassman appeared in the McCallum Theatre’s 15th Annual Choreographic Festival and at Milwaukee’s Next Act Theatre as a member of NomadicLIMBS A Dance Collective. In 2016, he danced as a guest artist at the Kansas City Dance Festival in a world premiere by Genesis choreographer, Garrett Smith.
