Milwaukee Ballet launched Ballet Beat to engage with the community during summer, Milwaukee’s most festive season. This July we’ll bring professional dancers into libraries, outdoor stages, and community centers throughout the Greater Milwaukee area for free interactive activities and professional performances.
Ballet Beat is made possible through the support of UPAF Connect, Brewers Community Foundation, Suzanne Martens, and supported in part by a grant from the Milwaukee Arts Board and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin.

"Part of what we want to do with our community engagement efforts is to educate about the art form itself. It’s accessible; it’s fun; it’s for your family.”
Alyson Chavez, Director of Community Engagement | BizTimes
