3-week Intermediate Summer Intensive Program

The Intermediate 3-week Summer Intensive Program is based at our Towne Centre studio location in Brookfield, WI (3815 N Brookfield Road, Suite 201). Subject to change.

  • Outstanding international faculty including Artistic Director Michael Pink, MBII Artistic Director Mireille Favarel, Company Rehearsal Directors Luz San Miguel and Denis Malinkine, Choreographer in Residence  & MBII Rehearsal Director Timothy O’Donnell, Milwaukee Ballet Company dancers, MBSA Faculty, Roxy Fair and Yaya Kambaye, and several other special guest artists.
  • Challenging daily classes including Ballet, Pointe, Men’s Work, and Variations.
  • Dynamic style classes including Jazz and Modern
  • Daily rehearsals for Emergence, a showcase performance with original choreography by faculty and guest teachers.
  • Students attending from more than 20 states and five countries
Program Housing:

Health & Safety Policies

All students attending Milwaukee Ballet’s 2022 Summer Intensive are now asked to conduct a self-administered, at-home Rapid test with 48 hours prior to their arrival to the program (June 18 for 6-week orientation or July 9 for 3-week orientation). Only positive test results should be reported immediately to Milwaukee Ballet Staff by calling 414-334-1114.

Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy is currently operating with mask-optional policies for students and faculty. Masking and testing requirements are subject to change in relation to community and school COVID-19 caseloads. All students should still plan to provide their own masks in the event that this policy is updated.

Additionally, all students* attending Milwaukee Ballet’s 2022 Summer Intensive are encouraged to be fully vaccinated and up to date for COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination. In the event of a positive case or close contact: isolation, quarantine, and testing protocols may differ based on the individual’s vaccination status.

*Students residing in program housing are required to be fully vaccinated and up to date (including boosters when eligible) against COVID-19; no medical or religious exemptions will be considered.

The CDC defines:

  • a fully vaccinated person as someone who has received their primary series of COVID-19 vaccines 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
  • an up to date person as someone who has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.
    Milwaukee Ballet reserves the right to update, amend, and change these policies as dictated by CDC guidelines and any other federal, state, or local mandates related to COVID-19.

3-week Intermediate Program Fees

Tuition | $2,150

A non-refundable $500 tuition deposit (applied towards the $2150 total) and $25 registration fee are required to reserve your student’s place in the program at the time of registration.

MSOE Housing & Meals | $1,980

A non-refundable $500 housing deposit (applied towards the $1980 total) is required to reserve your student’s housing and meals at the time of registration.
