Health & Safety Policies

All students* attending Milwaukee Ballet’s 2022 Summer Intensive will be required to be masked at all time inside building and submit either proof of being fully vaccinated and up to date for COVID-19 or submit to weekly testing conducted through Milwaukee Ballet. Weekly testing will be at an additional cost to the student; this cost is yet to be determined. Students providing proof of being fully vaccinated and up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations must submit proof by May 1, 2022.

The CDC defines fully vaccinated person as someone who has received their primary series of COVID-19 vaccines:

  • 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
  • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

The CDC defines up to date person as someone who has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.

*Students residing in program housing are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; no medical or religious exemptions will be considered.

As the health and safety of our students, staff, and faculty is of the utmost importance, we will continue to meet and determine health and safety guidelines for our Summer Intensive in conjunction with our medical advisors through our Health & Safety Committee. As we continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 in our local community and across the nation, we will update our Health & Safety policies as needed. Updates to our policies may include masking and social distancing requirements, negative COVID-19 test results, or COVID-19 vaccination status. Milwaukee Ballet reserves the right to update, amend, and change these policies as dictated by CDC guidelines and any other federal, state, or local mandates related to COVID-19.
