6-Week Pre-Professional Program
A concentrated, comprehensive course for serious pre-professionals aged 11-22 who have attained an intermediate to advanced level of ballet technique. Ladies must have a minimum of one full year of intensive pointe training and boys in the equivalent level. Daily classes in ballet, pointe, and men’s work. Dynamic style classes. Rehearsal of original choreography.
HIGHLIGHTS
3-Week Intermediate Program
A comprehensive course for intermediate students age 11-14. Ladies must have started pointe work at the start of the current school year and boys in the equivalent level of study. The program consists of daily technique, pointe, and style class (character, jazz or modern). Classes are followed by a full rehearsal schedule each afternoon.

Milwaukee Ballet is proud to present EMERGENCE 2023, featuring the students of the 2023 Summer Intensive Program and choreography by Milwaukee Ballet’s faculty and guest instructors. Family and friends are welcome to join us for two identical performances!

Tickets are all reserved seating and on sale now for $25 each (including fees) and can be purchased via the button below. After your purchase is complete, you may select options to email or print your receipt and download individual tickets.
Video and photography from the audience is strictly prohibited; however, professional photography and video will be available within two weeks following the program. All students will receive links to view and/or purchase photos and video at that time.
The Milwaukee Ballet Summer Intensive program is proud to feature an outstanding international faculty including Artistic Director Michael Pink, MBII Artistic Director Mireille Favarel, Company Rehearsal Directors Luz San Miguel and Denis Malinkine, Milwaukee Ballet Company dancers, MBSA Faculty, Roxy Fair and Yaya Kambaye, and several other special guest artists.
TUITION
A non-refundable $500 tuition deposit (applied towards the total) and $25 registration fee are required to reserve your student’s place in the program at the time of registration.
HOUSING
Housing for Summer Intensive students is available through a partnership with the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). A non-refundable $500 housing deposit (applied towards the total) is required to reserve your student’s housing and meals at the time of registration.
