Capital Campaign Coordinator
The Capital Campaign Coordinator reports to the Director of Development. Milwaukee Ballet has successfully raised $24.5 million for a new home and operating fund as well as the beginnings of an Artistic Fund and a Give Back to Milwaukee Fund. The Capital Campaign Coordinator will act as project manager for the public phase of the capital campaign. With the support of four colleagues, they will execute the Capital Campaign Cabinet’s strategy to maintain momentum and raise an additional $2 million from our donor base. This position is full-time, starting as soon as possible. This is a temporary position through July 31st, 2020. Major Gifts Officer
The Major Gifts Officer supports the Director of Development in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship to achieve growth goals within Milwaukee Ballet’s 5-Year plan. The Development team includes three other full-time staff and works closely with the Milwaukee Ballet Board of Directors, Artistic and Program staff. The Department of Development raises approx. $3,000,000 each year for operations and works on special initiatives including Capital Campaign, planned giving and one-time projects. The Department also works closely with the United Performing Arts Fund. This is a full-time position. Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy is seeking musicians with high intermediate/advanced level piano skills who are prompt, responsible, and interested in collaborating with teachers and students to accompany classical ballet classes. Applicants must have prior teaching experience in at least one of the following areas:
Instructors must attend teacher training in Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy curriculum, participate in required staff meetings, attend Milwaukee Ballet performances (complimentary ticket provided), instill proper classical ballet etiquette in the classroom, and teach to students at an age-appropriate level of fun and enjoyment.
