Originally from Gurnee, Illinois, Garrett Glassman received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Butler University in Indiana in 2012. He then joined ?Milwaukee Ballet? II, where he was featured in works by Michael Pink, George Balanchine, and Maurice Béjart.  

During his time with ?Milwaukee Ballet, Glassman has portrayed the roles of Harker and Renfield in Michael Pink’s Dracula, Fritz in The Nutcracker, James Vane in Dorian Gray, Madge the Witch in La Sylphide, Tweedle Dee in Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland), Colline in La Bohème, Pinocchio in Beauty and the Beast, Quasimodo in Hunchback of Notre Dame, and John Darling in Peter Pan. 

Glassman has choreographed contemporary works for Milwaukee Ballet II and the Lake Arts Project. He has also created new work for Milwaukee Ballet’s Company, creating Affixed in 2018 and I Do, Don’t I? in 2020, both of which premiered at the ?Pabst Theater.
