Follow the hero and his comedic companion, Sancho Panza,as they travel through Spain in search of adventure, righteousness and love. Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra plays one of classical ballet’s best-loved scores, while the dancing will simply leave you breathless.

Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra plays Tchaikovsky’s iconic score as the young artists of Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy and the Milwaukee Children’s Choir join the dancers of Milwaukee Ballet to fill your heart with festive spirit and memories that will last a lifetime.

FEBRUARY 5-8, 2015

Imagine artistic director Michael Pink asking you to help select one of the most talented young choreographers in the world. That’s the opportunity you have as a Genesis audience member. Three young and very talented choreographers, handselected by Mr. Pink, are challenged to develop a dynamic, boundary-stretching piece in only three weeks. Votes are cast each night of the performance and the overall winner receives the opportunity to return to create another work for Milwaukee Ballet.

MARCH 26-29, 2015

A tale of deception, love, betrayal, revenge and redemption, this classic medieval story takes on added significance in a WWII timeframe. Set in Warsaw in the 1940’s, Giselle’s betrayal results in grave consequences for the entire community as she and her spiritual companions exact their unique brand of revenge. But forgiveness ultimately wins the day and conquers death. The moving score is performed live by the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra.

MAY 14-17, 2015

The classic journey from servant to princess takes on added luster through the creative lens of Michael Pink. Delight in fairy godmothers, glass slippers and a pumpkin carriage that all conspire to deliver Cinderella to an unforgettable world of fantasy, love and beauty. All of this is punctuated by dancers from the Milwaukee Ballet School and Sergei Prokofiev’s magical score performed by the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra.
