About MBSA
Welcome to Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy! MBSA provides exceptional dance training in an encouraging and professional environment. An education in ballet teaches more than how to pointe your toes. Students learn poise, teamwork, and discipline – skills that lead to success both on stage and off. We strive to make ballet available to all who wish to dance, regardless of background, experience, or age.
Our nationally-acclaimed program provides education in dance and experience for a lifetime, with three convenient locations of Downtown Milwaukee, Brookfield, and Fox Point.
Registration is open for Fall 2025. New students are always welcome!
MBSA's Mission
Established in 1975, Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy offers the finest dance training in an encouraging and professional atmosphere and supports the growth of classical ballet by maintaining the highest standards and nurturing the talent of every student.
Programs
Class schedules and registration for Summer 2024 are now available! Other offerings include our Pre-Professional Program and Drop-In Division for teens and adults.
Locations
Choose the location that's best for you! Our branches are located in downtown Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward at Baumgartner Center for Dance, in Brookfield in the Sendik's Towne Centre, and in Fox Pointe at the Riverpoint Village shopping center.

Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD). One of less than 15 pre-professional studio schools in the country, and the only one in the Midwest, this accreditation recognizes MBSA meets a rigorous set of national standards for excellence in dance training and organized operation.
